Detectors
Nextech distributes a wide portfolio of fire detectors from some of the world’s leading manufacturers, so we can always offer a solution that provides the highest level of safety in your particular industry and business.
We offer the following fire detectors:
Temperature monitoring
GreCon’s thermal detector TM1/9 detects both acute and gradual temperature increases. The detector has two trigger functions:
- In case of smouldering fire, i.e. gradually rising temperatures, the alarm is triggered when the temperature reaches a set threshold value.
- In the event of an acute temperature rise, for example a fuel fire, the alarm is triggered at the moment an acute temperature rise is detected, i.e. this is not left until the threshold value is reached.
TEMPERATURE MONITORING OF BEARINGS AND MOTORS
GreCons Thermo Detector TM 3/9 plus uses three contact-based temperature sensors to monitor mechanical faults in bearings and motors. The detector allows two temperature thresholds to be set for the alarm.
Detection of smouldering embers and other fires (combustion gas detection)
Burning embers deep inside a material release combustion gas. This gas can be detected – for example inside a silo– using GreCon’s combustion gas detector BGM.
The combustion gas detector can be used as a stand-alone unit or in combination with other units for monitoring larger areas.
The detector captures the gases released by the smouldering fire and must therefore be installed in a place where the gases accumulate. This allows the gases to be detected before they ignite, effectively preventing serious fires.
Detection of open fire by flame detector
GreCon’s DET-TRONIX X3301 and DET-TRONIX 5200G flame detectors use modern UV/IR technology to ensure reliable detection of flames while avoiding false alarms. The UV sensor triggers an alarm as soon as open flames are detected, making it possible to extinguish the fire manually before it becomes critical.
If the manual extinguishing is not sufficient and the fire develops further, the independent IR sensor will confirm the alarm triggered by the UV sensor and initiate automatic extinguishing of the fire.
Smoke detection
GreCon’s SRM 1/8 photoelectric smoke detector detects fires that develop smoke, for example in return air pipes or dust filters. The smoke detectors can be used to detect fire in dust-free areas.
Smoke particle detection
Schrack Seconet’s AirSCREEN ASD 535 aspiration detector uses the latest HD sensor technology to accurately detect even small amounts of smoke particles. The detector continuously monitors the air quality in the area and provides maximum safety, even in exposed environments. The detector is quiet and discreet, as it can be built in, making it optimal for areas where this is of great importance.
IR monitoring for thermal monitoring
Nextech also sells IR monitoring equipment for thermal monitoring.
SPARK DETECTION UNDER ALL CONCEIVABLE CONDITIONS
GreCon’s latest DLD 1/9 sensor is an extremely sensitive detector for the detection of sparks and hot particles. Insensitive to daylight and artificial light. Excellent detection performance for all ignition sources in any environment thanks to adaptive detection technology.
Used for detecting sparks and smouldering embers in bright environments. The sensor can detect sparks from conveyor belts, on production lines or at transitions between transport systems. Sensor performance is not affected by daylight or artificial lighting.
