Where is the hazard?
Fuel and lubricating oil in engines pose a fire hazard if spilled and the flammable liquids come into contact with ignition sources such as sparks or hot engine parts.
The fire hazard occurs in large vehicles used for passenger or freight transport, but also in other types of large vehicles used for heavy work in demanding – and sometimes flammable – conditions, such as forestry machinery, agricultural machinery or construction machinery.
